Hi there and Moin from Hamburg!

I am Carina and I love to give you a short introduction to me as a person and to my career paths!

Next to my studies (Marketing + Business Psychology) I always aimed to work (mentioning here the job of being a “cereal consultant” for mymuesli in Berlin – just as a fun fact!). Especially my time at XING Marketing Solutions set the stones for the next steps in my career as I learned a lot about digital marketing activities, digital campaigns, lead generation and also about tracking & measurement. This was where my digital career path began.

After that chapter of my life, I joined Google Germany as a Marketing Specialist in the Google Partners Team. This role was focusing on marketing activities for B2B audiences and requires many alignments with different departments like Sales or external Agencies. Here I was able to lead the external agencies to drive successful projects and communications which got me into a position where I could be a role model in driving the project of the Google Rewards program throughout EMEA area. This role helped me also to get to know the processes of an international operating business and gave me the chance to connect with many people internationally. Those connections are still alive across country borders. In addition, I was able to learn how visibility, performance and recognition is going hand in hand to drive success in a role and for me an individual.

After that career step I joined a company which is part of the RTL Mediagroup. In my role as International Partnership Manager I was able to dive deeper into the world of digital video advertising solutions, campaign setups and analysis. But more than that I build successful and strong international relationships with advertising agencies. I felt the urge to start something new in a more dynamic environment which led me to my current role in an international leading internet company where I am working as an Agency Partnership Manager. More than ever before I see the importance of combining product knowledge, insights of the digital- and agency landscape with the capability of showing proactiveness and being visible to drive success.

As a Mentor I can support with a great knowledge about the digital working landscape and how international company structures flow, with tips how to optimize the self-appearance and the visibility, with a lot of fun to uncover potentials and support the wellbeing in every second. Following my heart and intuition was always the right choice which I encourage everyone to do so.

Also, I can help to find an efficient structure for working, time management and setting priorities. The first step is all we need together as a future team! :) In my free time I go to my dancing class (Reggaeton-Fusion it is – whoop whoop), love to enjoy amazing breakfasts and travel as often as possible.
